To celebrate the end of stage 5 of the Tour of Britain 2016 in Bath on Thursday 8th September, the Mogers Drewett office in 24 Queen Square are displaying an official tour ‘decorated bicycle’ in the build up to the event. From 18th August until the 8th September 2016 you can visit our offices and find our bicycle outside, which has some added ‘bling’ to mark the occasion of Bath hosting a final stage of the Tour of Britain.

Because we’re so proud to be part of the Tour of Britain in Bath – we’ve put together a fantastic competition for all the family to get involved in. To be in with a chance to win the prize of a £50 Amazon voucher, simply bring yourself down to our office at 24 Queen Square in Bath, take a selfie or photo with friends and family with our bike in the background and tweet the picture to our @mogersdrewett Twitter account, along with the hashtags #BathTOB. During the competition we’ll be displaying a feed of the latest pictures sent to us on this page, so you can be recognised for your efforts. Details of the Tour of Britain route in Bath

Britain’s premier cycling race, the Tour of Britain, will be arriving in Bath on Thursday 8th September 2016. Stage 5 begins at approximately 11am in Aberdare with 120 professional cyclists taking part. The tour is anticipated to arrive in Bath by 3.30pm, after visiting Gloucestershire and South Wales. To catch a glimpse of the tour in Bath make sure you’re watching from one of these roads or landmarks:

  • A431 through Kelston
  • Newbridge Hill
  • Chelsea Road
  • Upper Bristol Road
  • Windsor Bridge
  • Royal Victoria Park’s children’s play area
  • Marlborough Lane
  • Finish: Royal Avenue

Please remember that some of these roads will be closed for a short period of time and pedestrians will be prevented from crossing the road when the tour approaches.

Watch the Tour of Britain 2016 in Bath at the Cycle Village

You can also watch the action on the large screens the council will be providing in the Cycle Village on Royal Avenue from 1pm. This area will be open from 10am – 4pm so you won’t miss any of the action. Schools across Bath will also be watching the spectacle of professional cyclists from the tour inside the cycle village.
